Another Shaolin Thread!!
Hi
well I'm going to post a few notes on shaolin balance as I'm sick of people going there useless! There's some really strange mechanic, I'll start by units!
Monk- the monk has it tough, everyone compares him to the knight, he's not , his reduction in health is huge! One of the best abilities use it on a vunerable unit and mark him for shadowing! +200 health or some resist would make him more useful, but he does currently have his place
Taoist- is probably the most useless, again he has great specials but doesn't blend well with the other units, he needs a +1 somewhere or some resists to keep them alive, or give then +100 health a turn when I take a unit I need to heal it!
Poisoner- she literally needs +10 attack so many times have I came with in 10 health when combing with the shadow! Otherwise she is easily the most useful in th most situations
Shadow- is easily the best unit in the game but lose him and it's a uphill struggle from there! 50 attack power boost would be a solution to the poisoner problem
Windblade- is probably the strangest of the shaolin units but can be the most useful! When she combos it's not effected by aoe so it easily the best way to get combo points, she needs her attack logic tweaked, I understand it! But the way it is now it isn't usefull!
Combo potions- is very good item, but it needs to work on shadowed units, they have a blue aura so they should benefit from the combo for that attack, also it shouldn't be used up when the shadow rez or better yet let him rez with ful health with a combo potion!
By using a combo of monk initially to weaken unit of interest, poisoner debuff then shadow/windblade/poisoner you can inflict and capture some valuable units!
There weakest point I feel is they need a boost to healing, Taoist is good as a unit but he needs to be good as a healer! Boost his survivalbility so resist/self healing
again I feel it would of been amazing for them to have there own armour! Each piece gives +50 health regen per turn, be fun! I may list a full break down and edit this post, but currently waiting for away to get from a to b so had alittle
Merry Christmas
wow it sounds like that don't it, nah the team in general is sorta a glass cannon , chance for amazing attack but usually doesn't survive long enough for it to be of any effect XD I blame the fact I was on public transport not really paying attention
they just don't have the resists!

Did you describe one of the beefiest units in the game as a glass canon?
Redexoskeleton. That's my name in game. Challenge me if you like (I am slightly above average) be sure to mention if it is a friendly or league game
