Mastering the Leaderboards

Hello... n00b but addicted to game... what are rift points? (i know likely a stupid question).
I think my highest combo was 18.

Combos are how many traps are involved in the killing of the orc (Within a certain time limit).
You are talking about killstreaks. Which dont add into the point but do provide more spending coin!
 
Rift points are what you lose when an orc reaches the rift. You have so many at the start. Depending on how many you end with you get that point bonus!

X9 combo??? my max is 5. Im still missing something important about tattics... LOL

edit: my best combo are orcs in fire + slow trap + lateral pull trap+ axes + storm up.   for x6, x7 x8 i don't have other extradimensional trap :P

My highest combo was x4. Need to do more! I want x9 combo's!

assuming 9 means 1 from each trap/weapon hit the orc before he died....
do spicy mushrooms count as more than one if from a different type ie if 8 traps hit the mob then an orc then an ogre would that give a 10x multiplier? or 11 if you could get a gnoll in there as well

My Guess is all of those that you just said, count towards combat kills and worth 50 points(plus add to combos of course)

I recently got  some 10x combos.  I have the proof here:

So can a robot dev comment on how much a 10x combo is worth please? =p

As you can see, if you start hitting anything past 4 combos, your points go up significantly. Expiriment in the levels with combining lethal and non-lethal traps for higher combo points.
