Leaving on a Jet Plane

What a busy week it’s been. I’ve spent the last several days getting all my ducks in a row for our little trip to GamesCom next week. But finally, I’m all packed and ready, as are a few other bots here. I’m bringing a little bit of swag with me, too. Did you see the new shirts we got earlier this week? I’ll be bringing a handful of the black ones with me to Germany, so if you’re at the show and want a shirt, you’ll have to keep a look-out for me (hint: I’ll be wearing a Robot shirt and bright red shoes)!

If you can’t make it out to GamesCom, don’t worry. I’ll be tweeting from the event the whole week, with text and image updates. Yet another good reason to make sure that you are following us on Twitter (@RobotEnt). For those of you who aren’t using twitter yet, you can catch all of the updates on the new Twitter feed we implemented on the home page. It’s on the lower right, and it’ll serve up all of our updates from the show.

This report is going to be a short one, but I wanted to quickly touch on all the feedback that you guys have given us so far on the forums. We pushed out another update last night that organized information on the forums a little more clearly, including the addition of the new vertical Robot ID Card (that's a pic of mine to the right). Next to everyone’s posts, you’ll now see an ID card of sorts that tells you who they are, shows their avatar, and gives you some quick links for interacting with people. You can more easily check out people’s profiles or send them private messages. Soon, you’ll be able to add and remove friends from the card as well. There are a handful of other updates still coming to the forums and profiles, so please keep your feedback coming in our support forums. We really appreciate how involved you all have been in the growth of the site so far. It’s here for you, so be sure to stick around!
