Happy Halloweeeeennnnnnnnn!

I love Halloween.  I love dressing up and pretending to be someone else.  I love decorating the office with scary, gory things because I can’t do it at home with 2 small children.  I love that Halloween still brings out the kid in us and we all can’t wait for our kids to get home with their disgusting amounts of candy so we can pick through in search for the Heath Bar or Whoppers or whatever you might like.  This year the Robots all brought the excess candy from their homes and it was put in our café.  I think we have cleared half of it by day 2 in the office.

Anyway, about the costumes….we typically have a costume contest at the office every year but this year we didn’t.  Being a creative environment we’ve had some good ones in the past and likely the costumes will resurface next year.  The last costume contest we had at Ensemble Studios I took 2nd place where I transformed myself as one of the building maintenance engineers long lost cousin, Bobby Ray.  It was quite scary and many had no idea who I was.  I loved it!   I was beat by one of our IT engineer’s family who came as the Wizard of Oz group.  They were all right, I guess.

This year my friends and I decided to do the Michael Jackson Thriller video characters.  As Halloween got closer we thought it was going to be pretty lame but once we were getting dressed we were having a little more fun with it.  Of course we had to enter the party doing the monster dance they do in the video when the Zombies all come out.   It was a good night!

Halloween 2009 is behind us and now the brainstorming for 2010!
