GamesCom - Day Three

Hey everyone! Day three is all wrapped up for me at GamesCom, and in just a few hours I'll be on a plane back to the states. Today's update is going to be relatively short. I got rather sick last night, which is no surprise when you pack a couple hundred thousand people into one building, right? Anyway, my time on the show floor was limited today. I've added about 35 more photos to the gallery on our page at Facebook. That should tide you over for a little longer.

While the show is over for me, it's still going strong for all attendees until Sunday evening. If you haven't yet had time, be sure to swing by our booth at the North Entrance to play Age of Empires. Off the floor, in our press demo area, Jerome is still going strong, and he'll be doing more press demos throughout the weekend. That means that in the coming weeks, you should be seeing tons of coverage of Age of Empires Online. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled! Some of the coverage has already started.

I know many of you still have burning questions that you want answered. I haven't been able to post much because of my crazy schedule over here, but I've been reading the boards. For example, several of you have asked about how the pricing will work for the game.  As if they had heard you all the way around the world, Microsoft's Dave Leuhmann and our very own Jerome Jones spoke briefly with Joystiq about how it will work, pointing out that it will be more like buying expansion packs. There's also been more video appearing online of the demo playthrough. In addition to our own video of the on-stage game demo that I posted yesterday, GlimpseDog.com posted their video today of a walkthrough they observed during Microsoft's PlayDate event at the opening of GamesCom. We'll keep you updated as more coverage comes online!

Sorry to make this one so short, but it's time for me to sign off. I've got an early flight, and I want to be in good health by morning! As I mentioned above, I'll be back in the office next week, and I'll be hopping on the message boards to answer more of your questions.
