GI Joe (Part 3)
Hello again! Didn't think I'd be posting again so soon, but some of the other artists wanted a little more time to tie off their stuff, so here I go again. I actually wasn't going to do another post for this topic since I had already done the Skyhawk, but Moffitt finally got me to start using a new software package for modeling called ZBrush. I started out with just a basic sphere and started sculpting over our lunch times just trying to get a feel for the program. I was having a blast with this new program and had come up with my first head sculpt.
After a couple of days of playing with the program I decided to take the head I created and try to turn it into a GI Joe character. Due to the oversized jaw I'd given the dude, I knew he'd have to be one of the big guys. After a quick reference search over the internet, I found Gung Ho and he matched up nicely. Normally I get reference first and then try to create, so this is not my normal process.
