GI Joe (Part 2)

Hey all!  Here is an image I worked up for the latest GI Joe theme.  Like most, I was a huge GI Joe fan growing up and had several of the toys, but unfortunately for my toys they lost the war with my BB gun!  I decided to try a vehicle for this theme, so I started surfing the web for an interesting design.  As soon as I saw the Skyhawk I knew it was the one.  I didn't want to do a straight remake of the toy, so I added some "slight" modifications to it.  Like Grimm2021, I took part in the 3D Challenge put on by CGHub but due to lack of time and my laziness, I never got around to finishing the final composition.

Nice work on these! Wish we could get 'em in Halo Wars, or even its own "GI Joe Wars" game! Would love to play with them again in an RTS game. Oh well, I know it can't happen, but would be awesome if you guys worked on it. Nice job.

Great Dude! That would be a cool game for you guys to make. Sort of looks like something that was not added in the Halo Wars game.

Yeah, this vehicle easily could have been in Halo Wars. I want to draw like that so bad. Great job again.

spango: that "uniform display" is from a font you can download specifically made for GI Joe, so you'll probably see it again very soon :)

Sean and Graver: Since I didn't get to model any of the vehicles in Halo Wars, I jumped at the chance to make this one. After watching those guys make all those cool vehicle renders, that is probably why mine matches that look.

Dear Robot Entertainment,

I know you can't tell us what game you're developing, but I am curious as to whether or not the game studio is interested in creating hardcore games for the PC platform. Since you're no longer owned by Microsoft, I'm hoping the answer is yes.
