I'm fairly sure that both Cyborg and Alienware have offices/factories/shops accross the globe :p.

I do understand the reasons and I'm sure some of it is legal as well as logistical, it's just frustrating seeing "US only" again and again when it comes to things like this, and especailly when it is a small company and there is little chance of a similar competiton held for other parts of the world.
