Hello. I got this problem: the game ran okay before today. I got to Gateway, then it shutdown itself after few second in the scene. Is this just a bigger bug than what I had in scene, Hallway? In Hallway, the orcs never show up, they died invisibly...
My computer has an i7 CPU and GT555M video card, I don't think it is my computer. Do I need an update or what?

Your computer completely shuts off or just the game crashes?
Is anyone having a problem with the In-game Leaderboards? Mine just wont load, never used to be an issue.
Leaderboard issue has been fixed. I believe it was on the steam side.
At point 3 you mention that I have to find out if my cpu is forcing itself to only use one core. How do I do that?
PLEASE, can you finally fix problems with Steam Czech settings? It was reported in november 2011 and problem is still here!

Hi, I recently bought this game on steam, but it doesn't seem to work. All I get is a black screen and my system hangs. I've tried the restarting steam and verifying the game cache as well the reinstalling directx, etc... but nothing seems to work.
The game appears to work in windowed mode, but the window is very small and a black screen appears and my system hangs if I exit the game from windowed mode.
My system specs are:
windows 7 professional 64 bit
intel i7 920 2.67GHz
6Gb RAM
ATI HD4890 graphics card
Drivers are up to date.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I got the game to try on OMD 1 before get the 2 but it dont work on my classic xbox controller all other steam games work just fine only thys one and the OMD 2 demo dont get it.
I tried all the stuff i find on the foruns update the drivers made a new profile on the game but no luck.
My PC is quite good and above the specs to run it i have the win 7 64 home premiun and no other controller pluged in and i pluged the controller on pc start up.
Can i have some help couse i dont like thys games on mouse and keyboard.

I hope this is the right place to write. I have the following problem with the game. Every time the armored Ogres appear (few seconds later, half way to the first stairs) at the Final the game crashes . It quits to the desktop.
Configuration 1:
Win7 Ultimate
Intel e3400
radeon 4850
4Gb RAM
Configuration 2:
Win7 Ultimate
Intel t3200
Intel 4500M
3Gb RAM
It would be nice if you could change/lower the Rift, Portal and the traps' range highlight graphics at low setting. With 4500m the game is ok, but when i look at a Rift or Portal the fps drops too much. The same happens when all traps shows their range (when you have the opportunitie to unleash).

I've tried reinstalling the DirectX and microsoft visual C++ x86 to no avail. Not sure what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have reinstalled an older driver for my video card and it now runs fine.

are all of your drivers up to date? There definitely seems to be something going on here with the graphics card.
I just recently brought this game as a double CD set with Orcs Must Die 2. Problem I have is the box set didn't come with a product code and steam wants one. I have sent an email but no reply yet, only been acouple of days tho. Only proof I have that I brought a copy is my online EB World page. Any help?
Hello, recently bought the game Orcs must Die 2 and in cooperative game serious delays at the companion are noticed, in single game such isn't present.
With what it can be connected and what there are ways of permission of a problem?

I have just purchased OMD from Steam on Windows 8, wanting to play it before buying OMD2, and after downloading, it starts to run, I get the Robot Entertainment loading screen with spinning cogs, then it just quits. I have read the sticky posts in this forum, and tried verifying the integrity of the game cache, but it still doesn't work. Please help,
